Tori, Archmage of Ouroboros
Tori was born in Candlekeep and raised as a scholar taken care of by his elven grandmother, in his younger years he was shunned and kept to himself and his grandmother while being entertained in the vast libraries learning all sorts of knowledge and lore and eventually learning magic.
When the day his grandmother passed, he felt alone and set forth outside Candlekeep to see the outside world, only to realize it is harsh.Knowing he can’t return home, he set out until he found the Ouroboros guild where he joined in desperation.
Eventually he climbed the rank of an archmage and retiring adventuring, so he can build the potential of the guild. As its assistant leader quietly watching it and making sure things run smoothly or running off to the other planes while his simulacrum and wards keep things on hold.
Using his ability to cast wish, Tori created a special artifact that allows the either the guild leader or assistant guild leader, to inscribe a creature’s name into it to evoke a permanent ban. Read more about the artifact below.
Ouroboros Book of Blacklist
Wonderous, Artifact
A magical black book with the Ouroboros insignia weaved in with silver colored paper with seemingly infinite pages created from the wish of the Archmage of Ouroboros to keep unwanted entities from destroying the guild or conducting business which was blessed by Mystra herself, while holding this book the leader of the Ouroboros guild or assistant guild leader can use an action to burn a soul coin creating a single use quill that vanishes after its use and write the name (nicknames, pseudonyms or titles can work) of a creature into its pages.
When a creature’s name is written it is incapable of entering the Ouroboros guild hall by any means including teleportation or even projecting itself with illusions or soul projections or creating gates within the premise and other similar powers. If a creature travels through an extra dimensional portal or other teleportation methods into the guildhall, they are automatically teleported outside the guild premise to the nearest unoccupied space. This book must remain in the Ouroboros guild leaders’ office, any attempt to remove it from the room causes it to vanish and reappear in the middle of the office.
The ouroboros guild leader or assistant guild leader while holding this book can spend an action to erase or cross out a written name allowing the creature to access to guildhall again. The book cannot be destroyed and only a wish can remove the blacklist by contesting a d20 with the guild leader, to destroy the book the Ouroboros guild must dissolve.
