Read just the essentials first.
You do not need to memorize every rule before playing. Focus on Character Creation, Server Rules, and the TRP Guide. You can learn the rest as you go.
Your character is part of a living world.
Other players may change the setting through adventures and roleplay. Keep an eye on Story Arcs and the Latest Updates so your character stays current with world events.
Ask questions whenever you’re unsure.
No one is expected to know every server rule or D&D interaction. Staff and experienced players are happy to clarify mechanics before they become problems.
Roleplay is one of the best ways to earn rewards.
You don’t have to wait for a session to play. Join conversations in TRP channels, visit guild NPCs, and participate in story events to develop your character and earn TRP rewards each month.
Mistakes are part of learning.
Everyone was new once. Forgetting a rule, making a suboptimal decision, or asking for help is completely normal. Focus on having fun and telling a memorable story with others.
