- Once every year, players are required to renew their adventuring status or be removed from the server. There will be 12-16 weekly pings prior to this to ensure maximum visibility. Players who are kicked, cannot regain status.
- Trial or Dungeon Master status must adhere to the specifics before they lose their status due to inactivity.
Age Minimum
All members in the server, must be at least 18 Yrs. upon joining. This change has been in effect since January 1, 2025. Players who are found to be under the age will be removed.
-
- Some subjects presented in session may touch on sensitive subjects such violence, abuse, sexual themes and off-color topics. These sessions are often given a disclaimer that states possible themes the session will include.
AI Content
The use of AI content should not be used for roleplay, with exception of character art reference, background crafting and name generation. Players who are found to be using AI to roleplay will be subjected to the Sheriff’s discretion.
Be Respectful
Players are asked to be respectful to others both in roleplay channels and outside of games. Avoid sensitive topics (Religion, Politics, Gender Identity & similar subjects.) No hate speech or harmful language. You’re expected to have moderately thick skin and have common sense. If problems persist, please open a ticket (see Tickets)
-
- Do not message moderator or dungeon master’s unless the latter pertains to a session concern.
- Dungeon Masters have the right to remove players they deem disruptive and ban players from their games for any reason.
Characters
Players are permitted to 3 characters each. 2nd slot unlocks at level 3, with the 3rd at level 10. Players with more than 2 characters must allocate spots to newer players. Characters of a player may not interact with each other, but they can be in the same room and vaguely know of each other’s achievements.
-
- No two characters can have the same name, even if they belong to different players. For the ease of recordkeeping, each player needs to create unique names for their characters.
Cheating
Cheating is looked down upon and can get you temporarily or permanently removed from the session or TRP you were cheating in. A warning will be issued on the initial offense of cheating.
-
- If repeatedly caught cheating, you may be subject to other punishments, including forced retirement of that character.
Communication
Players are expected to communicate regarding issues and concerns when they first arise. Please do not wait days or a week later to report something. While all input is valued; ultimately admin has final say.
-
- For sessions or narrators, please speak to the Dungeon Master who had hosted the session/played the narrator.
- For server related issues and/or issues between players/dungeon masters, please open a ticket, under the tickets channel.
Drama
There is a strict no-drama policy outside of in-character drama. This is to maintain a positive and welcoming environment for all members. In-character drama is welcome and encouraged as part of roleplay or storytelling. Members found starting drama will be asked to move it to the fight club.
Leaving
Leaving the server will result in all character progression being lost, resulting in an instant reset back to level 1. Any roles of importance the player had acquired will not be given. This includes leaving the server to avoid sitting out a long timeout.
-
- In rare cases, status and progress will be reinstated. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Leveling-up
All players are required to use the experience advancement. This server uses a specific formula for converting hours into experience points. This is done by Character Level x Hours Played x 75 or using the XP Calculator.
-
- Players may and will be audited at random or if a player is suspected to have incorrect experience.
- For non-canon games, players must input half the full value of hours.
Magic Items
Magic items are restricted to the tier they correspond from rarity. Higher tiers may use the rarity of their level or lower. Attempting to use a magic item above tier will result in the item being locked. Once the character reaches the minimum tier needed, the item may then be used. However, this does not prevent a character from purchasing or selling an item of higher tier. Artificers are immune to tier restrictions for their own infusions they make and use. Giving such to another player will limit the receiving player to follow rarity per tier restrictions.
Below are the permitted levels for the magic items below.
-
- Common – T1 (Level 1-4)
- Uncommon – T2 (Level 5-9)
- Rare – T3 (Level 10-14)
- Very Rare – T4 (Level 15-20)
- Legendary – T4 (Level 15-20)
Any sourcebook (or adventure/3rd party book) that details magic item creation is unavailable. All magic items must be bought. Items found on the PPC (Potions, Potions Crafting) are considered mundane in rarity and may be bought in the mundane log. Find all the potions and poisons available here.
Monthly XP
Every month, players have a chance to gather up to 10 hours of experience points per character they have. Please refer to the linked message in TRP-XP for more information on how to claim hours. Players will be reminded one or two times per month of the current leaderboard ranks. Winner of the monthly XP will be awarded their choice of prizes, along with other monthly goodies for reaching spot one.
-
- Chat is locked for 12-hours after the initial posting of who made the leaderboards for the previous month.
- TRP Quests do count towards monthly XP.
Server Rating
Our setting for the purposes of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) this server has a Mature rating. It is roughly based off a realistic medieval history, so these things do happen in the setting, such as torture, discrimination, dark themes, and off-color topics. NSFW content is not permitted on the server, despite users being 18+. Communicate with the dungeon master if any of the session content is too painful or too graphic.
-
- Dungeon Master are permitted to broach these subjects but are asked to refrain from gross detail while in a TRP channels or in session, unless a disclaimer was stated prior.
Tickets
For any issues with either between dungeon master’s or other players, a ticket should be opened up. Locate tickets-renewal and open a ticket. Any content discussed in a ticket, should remain within and not leaked for discretion.
-
- Messaging the admin or a dungeon master privately with a problem is not the appropriate way for issues to be handled, if it does not involve that individual. Players will be prompted or linked with a message to open a ticket.
Warnings
Breaking rules will be dealt with warnings based on severity. Acquiring too many warnings would impact a player who wishes to eventually become a Dungeon Master on the server, or a position higher than welcome team. Warnings will eventually be dropped after a certain period of time.
