Carousing covers a workweek of fine food, strong drink, and socializing. Carousing takes 5 days and choice of 10gp, 50gp or 250gp.
A character can attempt to carouse among lower (10gp), middle (50gp), or upper-class folk (250gp & access to local nobility.) A character can carouse with the following classes, covering all associated expenses for the entire work week using either CHA ability of Persuasion or Deception.
-
- An aristocratic lifestyle must be paid (10gp/day) in addition of the 250gp to socialize with the noble class.
- Alternatively, a character may use a disguise kit and proficency with the Deception skill to pass as a noble visiting from a distant city.
Features, spells and items are allowed to be used. Lifestyle is not needed to pay as the carousing downtime cost will cover all fees.
