Carousing covers a workweek of fine food, strong drink, and socializing. Carousing takes 5 days and choice of 10gp, 50gp or 250gp.
A character can attempt to carouse among lower (10gp), middle (50gp), or upper-class folk (250gp & access to local nobility.) A character can carouse with the following classes, covering all associated expenses for the entire work week using either CHA ability of Persuasion or Deception.
-
- An aristocratic lifestyle must be paid (10gp/day) in addition of the 250gp to socialize with the noble class.
- Alternatively, a character may use a disguise kit if they are proficient-in to pass as a noble visiting from a distant city to avoid the paying the aristocratic lifestyle (50 GP).
Features, spells and items are allowed to be used. Lifestyle is not needed to pay as the carousing downtime cost will cover all fees.
